This will be a one-stop post about the best attractions in Switzerland. Talking about the best, everyone knows the Rhine Falls is the best attraction in Switzerland since it is the largest plain waterfall in Europe. However, you also want to see the others.

The Matterhorn, Zermatt

Zermatt is a medieval village and famous for its skiing in the winter. People choose to have a great time hiking around Zermatt in the summers. Most of all, the key attraction is where Zermatt is. It could be due to the fact that Matterhorn, the most photographed mountain in the world is right next to it.

St. Moritz

In St. Moritz, you got to pamper yourself all the way. It is a place for you to enjoy the fine dining and wining. Indulge in foods such as caviar to truffles, spa treats and mud therapies. In summer and winter, this place is entirely for sports. Being a famous winter resort, it offers skiing. Thereafter you can ease away the little muscles aches while soaking in mineral baths.

In Switzerland, viewing the glacier landscape on the notable vistas is a must. Day one after the Segantini Museum, plan some time to descend from Diavolezza to the Morteratsch Glacer. For thrill seekers, see the 3300 metres high Piz Corvatsch particularly its ice cave, and then ski 8 km down to St.Moritz-Bad. Never tried a bobsled run? That’s your chance this December. St. Mortiz has an active and expensive nightlife, so you have been warned.

For couples, there are some romantic things you can do. From taking a boat trip or try the paddle-wheel steamboats on the Lake Geneva or stroll on the little man-made Isle de Rousseau.

Berne is the capital (not Zurich). The highlight is the Bern Historical Museum and Lake Thun, the Alpine lake. You are also recommended to go to the Jungfrau Region: from winter sports to activities at Interlaken, a popular resort of the Jungfrau region.

Zurich is largest city in Switzerland and its top attraction is the Old Town (Altstadt).

The Swiss Transport Museum is a must-see and the Lake Lucerne where you can enjoy the fjord-like views. Check out the most famous lookout point in Central Switzerland at Mt. Pilatus or take a day trip excursion and vacation paradise to the Queen of the mountains, Mount Rigi.

Slightly further down is to Bellinzona where you should see the three castles: Castelgrande, Montebello, Sasso Corbaro.
